Pastor Malcolm has been called to serve as the planting pastor for Life Church in Grand Prairie, Texas. Malcolm accepted his calling into ministry and preached his first sermon at the age of eight. He has served in many pastoral roles including Minister of Outreach/Singles at Cornerstone Baptist in Arlington, TX, Senior Pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Coatesville, PA, Director of Comfort and Care/Singles at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas. Preceding his journey to Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, Malcolm functioned as Associate Pastor, Minister of Outreach, Discipleship, and Youth at First Baptist Church of Progress Village in Tampa, Florida.While at First Baptist, Malcolm developed a Faith-Promise Missions Conference, established an outreach ministry on the campus of the University of South Florida, implemented a Youth Evangelism ministry, and served as the community liaison.
 
With his more than thirty years of ministry experience, Malcolm also served in many leadership roles. He has served as a Special Assistant for the President of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. and as a member of the National Baptist Youth Convention of America Leadership Council. In 1997, he received the Peacemaker of the Year Award by the National Conference of Christians and Jews. As a result of his willingness to be used by God, he often consults and facilitates workshops for various groups, including evangelistic crusades, singles and young adult seminars, college ministry organizations, missions’ conferences, and various leadership-training sessions. Malcolm’s ministry has had a global impact by participating training pastors in Nigeria, West Africa and working with missionaries in Grenada, West Indies and The Czech Republic.
 
Malcolm completed his Bachelors of Arts degree in Religious Education at Florida Baptist College in Brandon, Florida, and received an Advance Diploma in Biblical Studies from Faith Bible Institute. He attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas and now is pursuing a Masters in Organizational Leadership and Management at Liberty University. Malcolm is also the founder and president of Great Things Ministries a ministry devoted to assisting pastors, churches, and individuals discover and live out their God-given purpose for the Glory of God.
 
Raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, Malcolm resides in Grand Prairie, Texas and enjoys his relationship in guiding his son, Myles and his daughters Daisha and Jada. His goal is to encourage people of all ages to realize their God-given purpose and desire to live out that responsibility for God’s glory. With a passion for the salvation of the lost, Malcolm strives to be obedient to the leadership of the Holy Spirit and to live a life that is full of purpose.
